Seattle Trip

We have been wanting to visit Seattle for a while but have never made it there. Nik has lived there for I think 12 years and I have never been to see him! Crazy! I am very happy that Jesse and I finally decided to make the trip.. and am even happier that my mom Ryan and Amee could come with us! We were sad that Hollie and Eli couldn't have been there so the whole crew couldn't be there but it was still lots of fun! On the first day we got there we went to Pike Place Market where there was tons of little shops that you could go in.. it was a very colorful place.. lots of fun and smelled very fishy.. We also went on a ferry (one of my favorite things of the trip) to Bremerton where we just hung out and warmed up from the freezing ride on the ferry. It is so beautiful there! So green! In the water you could see tons of Jelly Fish.. I do not recommend ever getting in the water there! The second day we took a road trip in our lovely mini van to Snoqualmie Falls and Leavenworth.. Snoqualmie Falls was so beautiful, it was nice to get away from the city for a day and get in to all of the trees and country part of Seattle.. We hiked down to the waterfall. Leavenworth was a cute little German town. I loved it! There were such cute little boutiques, wine shops, choclate shops, cheese shops.. everything you can think of. This was probably one of our most fun nights there.. Everyone was just relaxed and had a good time.. I will admit.. for the first time in my life.. I was pressured into.. drinking a sip of beer! My first and ONLY time! It was disgusting.. and I felt so guilty after doing it... I hate that im not so innocent anymore! I guess now I can say I have tasted it.. Anyway, very very fun night full of laughs! On the third day we went on an underground tour which was interesting and very amusing.. then we headed over to the Space Needle. Well we can say that we have been there now but probably won't go back on the space needle for a long time.. if ever again.. it was quite overrated in our opinion.. It was a very fun trip that we will never forget and we cannot thank Nik and David enough for letting us all stay with them.. We are so thankful! You guys were great thank you so much! Overall, this trip was awesome and we will never forget the fun time we had there! Look back for our video of the trip! Should be pretty amusing when Jesse gets done editing!! :)
