.Mexican Getaway.
So.. I have been thinkin for a while if I was going to post anything about our cruise.. because we took a MILLION pictures.. and I don't know if I'm just too lazy or it takes too long, but I just didn't want to post a million pictures.. if you would like to look at all of the pictures (and are a friend of mine on facebook) you can look at them there!
First off, I just want to say THANK YOU a million times to Jesse's parents, without them we would not have had this opportunity! About a year ago, they planned for all of us to go on a family trip to Mexico. So we looked forward to it for so long and are so sad that it has came and gone so fast. I wish I was back on that cruise ship looking out into the beautiful ocean!
Okay so on to the details of the trip.. The first couple days were "Fun Days" at Sea where we just were heading to Puerta Vallarta. There was lots of stuff to do on the ship, or you could just hang out and relax (which is basically what we did). When we got to Puerta Vallarta, we did our excursion which was Snorkeling/whale watching. We headed out to the island to go snorkeling and saw so many whales!! It was so amazing and exciting to see something like that! We are lucky we got to see them, the guys said that the day before they did not see one whale! So we were super excited! There was this one whale that was putting on a show for us and coming right up next to our boat! So cool! After we saw the whales everyone went snorkeling (except a few of us, who stayed on the boat). Jesse said that the snorkeling was okay, but not as good as Hawaii!
Next stop was Mazatlan... aka.. the GHETTO.. I'm sorry but it was so sad to go there! Just driving up and down the streets, all I could think of was how ungrateful I am for everything that I have and where I live.. I see these people and the way they live and it makes me sad.. even the dogs look sad there... We went shopping there where you could barter with the people to get a good deal on what you wanted.. That was basically all we did that day..
Last but DEFINITELY not least.. was Cabo San Lucas! My favorite of all the islands! Jesse and I would love to go stay there for a week! It was so beautiful there. We took about an hour or so drive to go on a zipline/tight rope/scary bridge/ repelling/ rock climbing adventure!! What a BLAST I had!! I had so so much fun!!
The trip wasn't as warm as anticipated but it was such a fun experience!! It was over so fast and it was hard to come back to reality but I will never forget the fun memories we made on that trip! If any of you have thought about going a cruise but haven't, my advice to you is GO!! Book a cruise right now!! You won't regret it and will have the time of your life! We are already dreaming about our next cruise which will be to the Carribean!! Can't wait!! Thanks again to Jesse's parents.. you cannot image how much we appreciate everything you do for us! We are so lucky to have you not just because you took us on an awesome trip, but because of the people that you are! We look up to you so much!)

Thanks for taking me down a trip on Memory Lane. Andrew and I did the same cruise line for our honeymoon. Our favorite was Cabo San Lucas too. I am so happy you had a wonderful time. I am in dire need of a vacation.
