What I Know Now At 24 Weeks...

Week 24 was the week of the BIG TARGETED ULTRASOUND! We had been looking forward to this ultrasound for some time now, we were anxious to see if everything is okay, but also SO excited to get a small glimpse of what she will look like.. We had our appointment and were a little disappointed because baby did NOT want to cooperate! No matter what we did she would not show us her face, she was moving around so much that we couldn't see her. We tried for such a long time to try and see her but only got a "blink" of what she looks like here and there. On the positive side.. everything is looking great! Organs all look good, she has 10 fingers and 10 toes, her brain looks good, and she is right on track, she weighs 1 pound 6 oz at the moment!! My due date is still the same!!

Our sweet baby girl!! Oh man I can't wait to meet her!
-This week I got my first charlie horse in my calf in the morning while I was still sleeping..I literally thought I was going to die! Hurt like crazy!! Hope that doesn't become a routine thing! I have been doing some special stretches so that doesn't happen again. My leg is still sore where I got it. If the soreness doesn't go away in a few weeks, I have to go in and make sure that I don't have a blood clot. I have heard that you get those  a lot if you are lacking calcium or something.. (maybe that's way I crave chocolate milk??)

-They were NOT kidding when they said you may become clumsy or forgetful.. This week I fell down AND up the stairs.. I guess I need to slow down a bit!! My butt is getting a little worn out from falling. I drop things constantly. It's so annoying and such a pain when I have to bend over and pick it up! Never thought bending over would become so difficult. Also, I will tell Jesse something and then 2 minutes later I'll be like "what did you just tell me??" hehe

-I can still fit into all of my jeans even with them all buttoned up!! :) Don't get my wrong.. at times.. like after I eat.. it can be especially uncomfortable! I'm thinking about going to buy some maternity pants this week so I can be a bit more comfy!!

-The back pain continues!! It gets so so bad after I am done cleaning or working all day.. I'm a firm believer in scrubbing the floors on my hands and knees.. I think it works better then a mop.. BUT.. for the next few months I may need to break down and buy some type of mop...My back seriously hates me when I'm done.

This week we bought our stroller and car seat!!! So excited.. We were going to buy as Chicco brand but changed our minds and got the peg perego and are in love!! We have been testing them out in several stores and just fell in LOVE with the perego! So easy to use and very compact! Love love love!! Can't wait to use them! Jesse and I have seriously considered taking the stroller around the block for a walk.. but decided that would just be weird and we want the first time to be with Maelee! :) We also bought her mattress, which was kind of stressful! Hope we made a good choice!!

We bought these at Babinskis in Salt Lake. If you haven't been to this store we HIGHLY recommend going! So cute and the staff is so so nice and helpful!
My friend Trinity sent Maelee this ADORABLE outfit in the mail this week!! I opened it and was SO EXCITED.. Isn't it so cute?! She also sent these cute headbands!! I cannot wait to use them! Thanks so much Trin!

As exciting as this week was it was also a sad week for our family. My dad's dad, Grandpa Campbell passed away. He had been sick for quite a while and couldn't fight anymore. He had so many life adventures and it was fun and bittersweet to go up to his home with my dad and search through all of his treasures that he got from everywhere you can imagine. He will be missed.. but we know he is feeling a lot better now!

Oh man Charlie Horses are the worst! Luckily with Kayson I would notice them right as they were starting and I would hurry and jump to my feet as quickly as possible to stop them from coming. So annoying. But if you stand immediately it helps! I think the nursery is adorable and I am in LOVE with your crib! And nice pick with Peg Perego...we use to be Graco people but now that we have our Peg Perego stroller I can see what the fuss is all about! You and I can pretend we're snobby Italians now :)

Let me just get this out of the way, "Not Fair!" Seriously with Jesse I was in maternity pants at 8 weeks with Bodee about 12 weeks. I can get one pair up, over and buttoned, but then I feel like I am choking and it hurts. So I am in my maternity wear til the end.

I actually need a new pair of pants that fit better and preferably cuter. May I suggest-Motherhood Maternity. They are soo comfy.

Love, love, love your travel system. Maelee will def travel in style.

I am glad you liked the outfit.

I had to get a US to rule out a blood clot once with Jesse. I hope to not get Charlie horses this go around.

Maelee looks beautiful!
