What I Know Now At 29 Weeks...

Busy! Busy! Busy!  At this point, Jesse and I are just trying to get everything done so that we can have the next little bit to relax, and not have to worry about not having everything done if I go early for some reason.

We had a busy weekend doing our projects. Jesse and his dad were busy making my frames and bow holders and me and my mom sewed the weekend away getting my car seat cover, and changing pad cover all done. Can't wait to take a picture of the entire nursery all finished! I am so excited, we are getting closer! It feels so good to get things crossed off our "to do" list!

We finally got registered this week at Target and Babies R Us, we have our first labor and delivery class this weekend and I cannot wait, OH and we FINALLY got our baby bedding and it is SO CUTE! I love it so much!!

So I am going to wait to post pictures of the projects I have had Jesse working on because I want to get them all hung up so you can see the whole "idea" I'M IN LOVE WITH WHAT HE HAS MADE ME!..... but here are some of the things I have been working on.

BEFORE, Car Seat Cover

AFTER

It's different then the car seat covers you usually see that just lay over the seat, we decided this one would work better for us because we were worried about the other type getting in our way. I still might make one of the other kind if I have time after everything else is done. I think it turned out cute.. You would never know but it's a lot of work! I couldn't have done it without my mom's help!

Changing Pad Cover.. I'm not completely in love with the way that this is fitting. I wish it fit more tightly.. but I think it will work just great! I love that minky fabric, SO SOFT! Next project! DRAPES...
Week 29

- Exhaustion
- Random Nausea
- Back Pain
- Random stomach pain
- Feeling very FAT
- Troubles breathing (she will get way WAY up in my ribs and make it very hard for me to breathe!)
- Shortness of breath, even when I'm not really doing anything
- HOT all the time!
- She still is moving like crazy all the time, and I love it.. even though it can be uncomfortable at times.. I wouldn't trade it for anything
- Jesse and I are getting very anxious to meet our princess! We wish time would speed up!! :) SO EXCITED!

Here is the diaper bag I finally picked out, you like? Alright ladies.. I really REALLLY need your input on a breast pump. I am not going back to work (for now) after I have the baby and really can't decide what type of pump I want to buy. I really want to do the Medela Pump in Style but am not sure if I need one that fancy since I'll just be staying at home.. any recommendations for a cheaper version.. or is this something you just don't cheap out on?? Should I just get over it and buy the Medela????

I love it. That is how my car seat cover for Jesse was, but it was flanel and too warm for Summer. So I am having the hanging one made. It was very nice. Kept him snug and germ free.

Love your colors in your nursery. My SIL is getting my vinyl next Tuesday so that my picture frames will be done. I need to buy my letters, drapes, sheets and bumper for Jesse so it matches Bodee's. Then I am done. Hallelujah.

I do have to say a pump is where I would not try to save. I am just a stay at home mom and I love the Medela. It sucks you dry in no time. :) Plus it's a double so it goes faster than if you save and buy a single. I would also suggest buying a hand pump for when you are out and about. I need to invest in one this time around. Sometimes I would get so full I almsot burst or you start leaking. Who wants to lug around that huge bag? Not I. Also get comfortable form fitting nursing pads. The flat ones that are thin like a pad just do not cut it. At least they did not for me. I produced a lot of milk.

I can't wait to see all the projects that Jesse has been working on.

When are your showers?

You will love your labor classes. They are informative and help you to prepare mentally.

i LOVE the purple you are doing in your lil ones room!! I just recently stopped breastfeeding Kinsey and i used an Ameda pump.. that thing is a champ! i went back to work when kinsey was 8 weeks and would pump 4-5 times a day and it only took me 15 min each time.. it is very quick and gets the job done :) i have also heard the Medela pumps work great too! are you going to take a breastfeeding class? i totally recommend them especially if you plan to breastfeed for a long period of time.. if i didnt take that class i would have prob given up a LONG time ago haha GOOD LUCK with the rest of everthing! I cant wait to see pic of your little princess ;)

Get the Medela. You will love it. It pumps both sides at one time. Well worth the money!!
