The fourth of July is probably one of my favorite weekends out of the year... and this year was no different. We had lots of fun. Jesse had to work pretty much ALL weekend long, day and night for cherry days and for some activities that North Ogden had planned, so we didn't get to spend as much time with him as we would have liked but enjoyed every minute that he was with us. Since Jesse was gone all weekend I was kinda bummed about it I couldn't help but thinking how selfish I am for even thinking that!.. He is here with me and Maelee every day.. he works about 2 minutes away from our home, and gets to come home every night to our family and here I am complaining that he is gone for a weekend when the soldiers are over for long long periods of time away from their families, I am so grateful for the sacrifices that the soldiers make for our country. How lucky are all of us that we get to live in this beautiful place with all of these beautiful people. We are all so lucky to live in such a safe place where we can be free and live our day to day lives in safety because of all of our troops that are over there fighting for all of us. So thank you to all of the troops and their amazing families for all of your hard work and sacrifices. Hope everyone had an amazing Fourth of July weekend!
