The Felter Family: Extreme Four-Wheeling

This weekend we got to go four wheeling with Jesse's family and some of their friends and let me tell you it was an adventure! The day started out so beautiful it was sunny and hot and I was lovin' it! Then I had to open my big mouth and say to Jesse "I thought it was supposed to rain today?" Pretty sure I jinxed us because not too much longer the dark clouds started rolling in! We were pretty far from the cars, at one point our whole group stopped to put ponchos on. You could see the lightening and could start to hear the thunder, I started to get really nervous. I DO NOT like lightening and thunder, I am really really scared of it and I felt like it was right there next to us because we were up there in the mountains! I know I'm a big baby! To make a long story short we had to ride maybe about 10-14 miles in the rain, it hurt to go fast because the rain was whipping us in the face, I couldn't breathe, couldn't see, I was trying to hold Jesse's stupid poncho down so it wouldn't blow in my face or his, the 4 wheeler kept sliding, mud was flying everywhere, and we were drenched. I was terrified at the time, but as we kept getting closer to our cars I just started to laugh, I couldn't believe it! It made me laugh. The day ended with a lot of us having to strip down to our underwear for the ride home! When we got home I had to wash my hair 3 times and I am pretty sure I STILL have dirt boogers!! hehe We had a blast!! It turned out to be one of the most fun four wheeler trips we have ever been on and is definitely a memory we will never forget!

Most of these pictures are not very good. I stole them off facebook from Irene who went with us that day. I left my camera in the car and am glad I did because it would have got WET! But you can kinda see in these pictures...
