Day 5

Top 10 Pet Peeves

1.  Listening to people eat gets on my nerves really bad, especially when people eat things like cereal.. or listening to someone suck ice cream through a straw..

2. I hate when people say they are going to do something and then they flake out

3. When people use words wrong when they are writing, like you're/your. Drives me nuts. Also I saw a quote that said something like "I am silently correcting your grammar as you speak" and that is definitely me!

4. Shopping at Wal-mart, in Harrisville, I guess is a pet peeve in and of itself, but, my pet peeve is that the people that shop there are so oblivious to anyone or anything but themselves! Like standing in the middle of the aisle so that no one can pass you. Or walking extremely slow when you are behind them. I am getting anxiety as I type this.

5. I think it is so rude when you are driving and let someone in front of you to be nice and they don't give a courtesy wave. What is up with that?!

6. When people blow their noses very loudly in a restaurant while you are eating

7. I hate when I get all situated in the car and realize I forgot the key, that just happens to always be upstairs

8. When Jesse says "you have ALLLLLLL day at home to do stuff like that"
(you moms will understand this)

9. PEOPLE. It is common courtesy to remove your shoes when going into someone's home. Please remove your shoes! (unless you know these people well and they wear their shoes in their own home it is not okay to wear your shoes)

10. Annoying news anchors

Hey Amanda! We must be alike because each pet peeve you listed is exactly what I would write :) Especially the grammar and punctuation bit. Oh and I totally hear ya on the mommy thing where we supposedly have all day to get things done.. Babies are a full time job and anything extra you can get done beyond just taking care of their needs is an added bonus! Being a mommy to a 13 month old, I know exactly what you mean :)
