Summer Time and the Gong Boo

Summer time has been so busy I feel like I have no time to blog anymore! I am loving being off the computer and outside with my girl! Maelee LOVES to be outside. She hasn't been a big water baby but I am slowly getting her used to being in her cute pool.

Here is what we have been up to the last few weeks..

Work day with mommy :) So I am working again.. Sorta. I went back to work at the same place I was at before.. only I go in on Tuesday nights when Jesse gets of work so he can watch Maelee. I stay for about 3 hours, and then I work every other Friday 9am-1pm and Jesse's mom watches the bug! Not too bad right?!  Maelee got to come to work with me this day because I didn't have a babysitter :)

Sooooo...... Maelee has only been sick one time since she was born with a small cold that only lasted like a day. Well.. the other day I noticed a small rash on her feet.. for a few days the rash got a little worse. Maelee never cries at night and always sleeps all through the night. She had a rough couple of nights so we decided with that rash and the crying that something must be wrong.. so on Saturday we took her to the doctor. We found out she had an ear infection in her right ear AND............... hand, foot, and mouth disease or as we like to call it the gong boo. BAHHHHHHHHH! That is in small print because I was very embarrassed about it and thought I was a bad mom. The doctor reassured me that tons of kids get it and that it had nothing to do with how clean she is.. I am guessing she picked it up from a wal-mart grocery cart! She is better now. When she got better I got sick, and then Saturday after Maelee went to the doctor I went and was diagnosed with Tonsilitis?! What am I eight years old?! It was very painful and pretty much knocked me off my feet for a few days.. I feel better now too. This picture was when we were both sick just hanging out at home... Love that she was there to take care of me!
