I have been wanting to take Maelee to the zoo pretty much since she was born and we finally went..
I hadn't been since I was a little kid, and Jesse says he has never ever been before. It was nothing like I remember, but it was a good day.

Who thinks the zoo should invest in a tiny splash-pad/water area for the kids (and parents) to cool down in?! I totally thought they had one?! They need one for hot days like these!

I do, I do! A nice little splash pad would be great. I need to take my kids to the zoo again. We have been twice, but the second time was so so busy I had to stand outside with Bodee and the stroller while my mother took Jesse to see the new exhibits. Plus it was as hot as haiti's.
That looked like it was fun.
