"I Sick"

The day after Christmas, Maelee came down with something. 

I think some kind of flu virus.

One day she slept ALL DAY. She woke up to eat but would really only stay awake for maybe 40 minutes at the most. She wouldn't eat, had a rash on her belly, had a elevated temperature, and had a bad tummy ache.

I had never seen this girl so tired! It made me sad that I couldn't make her feel better.

She would tell me "I sick."

She is finally feeling better!! Sick kids are no fun!
These pictures were taken after we finished with lunch. I put her down and she went and laid on the carpet and fell right to sleep.
