We Moved!

Just for my memory. We sold our town home back in April 2012, and moved in with Jesse's parents until August 2013. I had been looking at buying houses for a while and nothing ever felt right.. So I looked into renting and we went through a few houses but really fell in love with this one.  Since Jesse just started a new business we were really nervous to buy again, especially since we lost so much money when we sold our town home, so we decided to rent for a couple of years. Might not make much sense to some, but for us it felt like the right thing to do and we are happy.

First time breafast at our new house..

The first two weeks were a little rough. Maelee struggled. She was so naughty. I seriously thought about sticking a "toddler for sale" sign in my front yard. Every day, all day.. it seemed like she was throwing a fit or something was upsetting her. I thought I might loose my mind. It didn't help that she was getting her molars either. I think just with all of the changes happening for her, there were a lot, she didn't know how to handler herself. She is so used to being a such a strict schedule, where we were moving and had so much going on it was hard to keep her on that schedule and it seriously messed her up .  She was so tired all the time.

I feel like now, she is back to her normal self and I am so relieved. 

We have been here about 3 weeks.. and in those three weeks I haven't been working a ton on the inside of the house, I really was focused on redoing Maelee's crib set so I haven't taken a lot of pictures of the inside yet but I will post them when I do. Jesse made a deal with the girl we are renting with and is putting in her yard. He is in heaven, and if he has any extra time it is spent outside in his yard. I cannot wait until this yard is finished!!!! I am so sick of the dirt. It seems like it is impossible to keep out of the house and is driving me absolutely insane!!! We can't even go outside for two seconds without Maelee getting dirty. A few times I have just said whatever, she actually really loves to play in the dirt with her dad.

While I clean and work on the house Mae keeps herself busy playing. 

Here is a sneak peak at Maelee's new room. I will take more pictures as I get more stuff put away.. but she loves it!! She has done so well in her toddler bed. Right now she is waking up one maybe two times a night, but she just wants us to come in and lay by her for a minute and she goes right back to sleep. OH and she has only fallen out of her bed once, yikes..

I will post more pictures of the house as they come.. I am working this week at getting things cleaned up and organized.. SO I am sure I will post them soon!
