3 Years Old

Up until now with Maelee's age posts I have always listed her milestones and what funny and cute things she learned to say. As I have been thinking of things to list I just can't do it! I feel like she's all grown up, a list is no longer needed because she does and says everything just like a little adult. She has the biggest personality and the biggest heart. She is the sweetest. We love and adore her so much and feel so blessed that she is ours. The week of her birthday Jesse and I got her video out of the her whole first year that he made and watched it. I can't help but get all teary eyed watching it. She was such a happy and fun baby, such an easy baby and now has grown to be an independent, sweet, loving, bossy,  sassy, hilarious three year old. We are so proud of her. We have so much fun with her every day and love her more then words can say. She gets more and more fun every day and keeps us on our toes and laughing like crazy!

Happy THIRD birthday, Maelee Paige.
We love you SOOOOO much!!

On Maelee's birthday we kept it pretty easy. She woke up to a room FULL of balloons (which she loves balloons) and streamers. She got a bike and a couple surprises from her daddy. We took her out for lunch at Goodwood and just hung out as a family for the day. It rained on her birthday, like every year.. but we had a nice relaxing day!

She got lots of messages and phone calls from family, which she loved!
Maelee's birthday theme was "sprinkles" so I made these circles to go behind the party table.
She thought they were so cool!

We filled her room with balloons!

Relaxin with her sleepy and sick daddy!
We had her party that weekend. She had so much fun and got so many fun, new things to play with.
Thank you to everyone that came and made her feel so special.

The next morning testing out her new art stuff she got! She loves art!!

We took her to the doctor for her checkup which I was excited about since we hadn't seen the doctor in a year. She must have inherited her braveness from her daddy because when I was little, actually still to this day, I am terrified of going to the doctor. Not my Mae, she is brave and talks to her doctor so well. I was so so proud. She's a big girl now and instead of taking her nasty, stinky daily multivitamin she takes some flinestone gummies and fluoride. She's a happy healthy smart little girl!

Maelee's three year old stats
Weight: 30.4... 48%
Height: 37.5"... 63%

It was also time for her to go back to the eye doctor. She likes to go because she gets to watch Curious George in the dark room while her eyes dilate. Her diagnosis was the same, Brown's Syndrome, but he said he wouldn't do anything about it. She can control it now so it makes for a pretty funny party trick. When the doctor was testing her he couldn't believe how smart she was. He would cover up one eye and ask her to name the picture she saw on the wall. A picture of an old fashioned telephone, when he came up to it he said oh she won't know what this is, Mae piped up and said, "That's a telephone!" He thought it was pretty funny. Again, I was so so proud of her! She loved that she got to pick out some awesome sunglasses. She picked them out and told me
"LOOK mommy, I picked out the ones that match my outfit!"

Love you buggy!
