What I Know Now At 16 Weeks...

Tiny fingers, tiny toes,
Little itty bitty clothes.
Dresses, ribbons & hair to curl,
We're tickled pink we're having a girl!

What a week!! I am so so happy right now! We had our doctor's appoint on Wed and found out that we are having a sweet little GIRL! We are both so so excited.. it makes it so much more real now that we know. It's been so funny trying to call the thing inside of me a "she" now and not an "it." I CANNOT WAIT to meet my little princess!!

I think about raising a little girl and get so excited and so nervous all at the same time. I'm about to get a life long friend and cannot wait! I think about the special relationship that I have with my mom and only hope and pray that I can have the same thing with my daughter. We are going to have so much fun together!

As exciting as week 16 was it was also another tough week for me.. I hate to complain and whine.. and I'm sure that there a bizillion other pregnant women going through the same things as me, if not worse.. but I am really having a hard time. My cold isn't getting any better. In fact, I'm pretty sure it's getting worse and to top that off I have what's called an "amoxicillin rash." I had been on my amoxicillin for about a week when I developed a nasty rash on my feet which quickly spread to the rest of my body. I cannot tell you how horrible it feels.. All I want to do is itch.

Basically pregnancy and I are not getting a long very well and it's making me an onery miserable wreck. If I could just hibernate all winter long that would be great! :) The one thing that helping me to survive is the thought that in just a few months I will get to meet my little girl.
