Fall Love

We are keeping busy here and loving every minute of this beautiful fall weather! I wish it would stay like this for a few more months but winter is just around the corner! 

A few weeks ago we had our very first family pictures taken! I am so excited to see them..I hope they look good!

This is what Maelee wore for family pictures :)

 Everyone knows that I'm a sucker for lagoon and especially frightmares.. but it was a little disappointing this year. We went with our friends Jess and Kyle who had never been before, that part was fun, but the first 3 rides we went on (Wicked, The Spider, and Colossus) Jesse got sick. Ever since I have known him he has gotten motion sick but it seems like the older he gets the worse the sickness gets... So those were the only 3 rides he went on. :( Part of the night he had to go out to the car and rest.. I am just glad he felt well enough to come back in for one haunted house. It was still fun.. I loved getting out of the house and laughing with my good friend! 

I told everyone to do a goofy face.. No one listened.

Last weekend we went to Orem to hang out with my Dad for the day. We went for a drive up Provo canyon. It was our first time and it was BEAUTIFUL!! We stopped at Bridal Veil Falls and then drove up by Sundance. Then we went to the shops at Riverwoods and had some dinner! So much fun! It was a great day!

It's that time of year for me when certain foods just seem to call my name.. I am not a fan of pumpkin pie at all.. but there are some pumpkin things, like cookies that I just love... I decided to try this recipe for pumpkin donuts.

I also crave salsa at this time of year so I made the salsa that you get from chili's

I have been working SO hard on my pregnancy journal. I have been spending A LOT of time on the computer for the last few weeks putting it together but I have finally finished and ordered it and cannot wait until it gets here. You would think printing your blog into a book would be easy.. but I went with a website that was recommended from a friend and it takes a minute to figure it out and customize it exactly how you want it. It will be so worth it though. I dedicated it to Maelee and will give it to her as a gift when she gets pregnant (years and years and years away) but I think it will be really special. I am so glad I did a weekly journal during my pregnancy! 

Here is my fall craft, newspaper leaves. I have been wanting to do a few more crafts for fall but I'm afraid Maelee is in a stage where she needs a lot of attention making it kind of difficult to get anything done during the day BUT she is just too cute to not give in to her. I would rather spend my time with Maelee then doing a craft or something anyway though!! :) We're buds.
