Maelee is 8 months old!! Here is what she has been up to this past month!
She says momma, moooommmmmm, dadda, bob, bop, ya ya, she talks like crazy!
She got her second tooth... we do not like teething, it is no fun
She does not like to wear head bands at all!! She pulls them right off. It makes me laugh she will pull it off and then stretch it out to look at it and then let go and it smacks her in the face.

She does the army crawl and is everywhere!!
She likes to eat finger foods now
We took her to get her ears pierced, she cried a lot :(
She is scared to death of the vacuum and drill and anything that is really noisy, this is the only time that she will be cuddly with you
Sometimes for a few seconds she can stand up all by herself
While she is eating, her new thing is to blow raspberries and spray food everywhere, it's messy
She won't sit still long enough for her bum to get changed, she flips over the minute you set her down to get changed
She hates getting dressed
She can go from being on her belly to sitting up by herself
She learned to clap her feet first but now she can clap her hands and does patty cake, also when you say "yah" she will clap her hands
She waves
She can go from sitting up to crawling position very easily now without falling on her face
Loves to swim in the bathtub
I finally let her sit in the shopping cart at the store a few times now, I have always been so grossed out but I just can't carry her or her heavy heavy car seat anymore! Plus, it made shopping for me so much more enjoyable! She loves it and everyone always comments on how cute and well behaved she is! :)
She is wearing 9 month clothes
We finally broke down and bought a baby gate! She likes to stand up and look over :)
She is so big in her bouncer chair now!
Wears size 3 Kirkland (Costco) diapers but they are too small so next batch of diapers will be size 4
She started eating meat now and has had turkey and rice, and chicken noodle baby food
She loves to open drawers that are on her level
She loves loves to stand, walk, jump, dance and wants you to help her do these things over and over again
She loves to hit her hand on things and she can hit and pinch hard!
Her schedule now at 8 months is..
Wake up at 9am
Eat Fruit and 4oz of formula
Play time
Take bath at 11:00am, get dressed and ready for the day
Story time 11:20 and then nap time at 11:30am
Wake up from nap at 1:00pm
Eat a fruit or veggie and 4oz of formula
Play time
Story time and nap time at 3:30pm
Wake up at 5:00pm
Eat dinner/ a veggie or meat and 4oz of formula
play until 8:30pm
Get ready for bed
Eat 8oz of formula, read a story and then go to bed

She is so stinking cute and advanced. I swear girls start doing everything before boys. Bodee will not sit up, he can, but he hates to. He wants to crawl so bad. He is so close, but he still gets around. He has no teeth yet, but Jesse did not get his first tooth until after 9 months. So I am still waiting. We still need to get toghether, desperately. We are going to this year!
