9 Months Old

I realize I haven't posted anything for a whole month! Jesse and I have been very very busy working on something new, but that is for another post coming soon!!


We went to the doctor yesterday for Maelee's checkup..
Here are her nine month stats

Height: 28.5 in... 80%

Weight: 20 lbs 10 oz... 80%

Head: 46 cm... 95%

She didn't have to get any shots this time just a quick finger poke! She didn't even cry, she was so good! On another note, she HATES to have her ears looked at. He always has to scrape the wax out so that he can see past it and she hates, hates, hates it. I wondered if I was doing a horrible job at cleaning her ears but he said that I was doing everything right that some people just produce more wax then others

At nine months she can now eat eggs, yogurt, and cheese! She had eggs for the first time for breakfast today. She wasn't quite sure how to eat them. She is used to eating either baby food or the little puffs that dissolve in her mouth. She just kept the eggs in her mouth and wouldn't swallow.. I think she was waiting for them to dissolve like her puffs. :)

Maelee at 9 months is..

Officially crawling on all fours, no more army crawl

Standing up on everything in sight! This is crazy to me because she started crawling one day and then literally the next day decided that she was going to stand up on everything in sight. She even tries to climb.

Since she started standing up on everything she has been falling a lot and getting lots of bumps and ouchies


We had to lower the crib

Jesse got her a teddy bear for Christmas and she LOVES it.. She hugs and cuddles it while she sleeps :)

She is starting to become more cuddly, I love it so much. She will crawl over to you and want to sit on your lap and play with her, but it has to be on her terms

She gives hugs and BIG SLOOPY WET kisses!

She can wear 9 month clothes but also can wear 12 month clothes! She is getting way too big!

She can now say bye-bye and tries to say hi and loves to watch herself wave to everyone

She is definitely a social little girl.. She chats all day long and I mean ALL DAY LONG! She has to constantly be making noise, even when she is falling asleep she is humming or making some kind of noise. Also, whenever we go somewhere she waves and smiles at everybody!

I have said it before and will say it again.. She is a SCREAMER! I don't mean like a cry scream or sad or anything. I just mean she randomly screams, loud. All day long.. she loves to scream!!

Out of no where she will just start laughing. She will just be crawling a long or just sitting there and start giggling

She is a busy body and never sits still

She loves to be upside down

She loves puppies :) Tynee and Chloe make her so happy and she gets so excited to be around them

She is such a happy happy girl... There are days few and far between when she has a bad day. She is just the best


She is such a chubby baby and I LOVE it!

She really loves to play with other little kids, she had her very first official "play date" this last week

We had to say goodbye to the coffee table this last week... I was cleaning and had quite the obstacle course for Maelee... I was in the kitchen and she was trying to get to me and crawling through the coffee table was the only way.. She was so sad
