11 Months Old

Happy 11th Month Birthday my sweetheart

Maelee took eight steps a few weeks ago and ever since has been walking short distances like crazy!! Sometimes she forgets she doesn't know how to go a long time or she thinks she can start running and crashes

Maelee is very independent and likes to do things her way on her very own terms

She will not lay on her back for anything, baths, bum change, morning routine, nothing at all

She has been saying lots of words (even though she still doesn't know what most of them mean), she learned how to say Easter, only she says it Easta.

She is VERY stubborn she gets that from both me and Jesse... oh boy

Her 4 top teeth came in all at the same time so now she has 7 teeth total, her two front teeth are very spaced apart :)

When you tell her no if she is holding something she is not supposed to, she will throw it

She is a pro at doing patty cake and can do the entire thing, every time you start singing it she gets a big old grin on her face

She will play peek-a-boo all by herself

I know that babies like to put everything in their mouth, but she seriously puts everything in there, when we go outside and she plays on the grass all she wants to do is eat the grass or dirt or whatever else she can get a hold of

When you say KABOOM! She will throw herself on her back and raise her hands up in the air and start laughing

I think we finally found ONE food that Maelee does not like, broccoli, and carrots with cheese stage 3 baby food. She loves and will really eat anything, but she does not like this, when we fed it to her, she gagged which I had never seen her do before

Maelee always has and still sleeps from 9pm to 9am in the morning. Amazing. Occasionally, she will need someone to get her her binky in the middle of the night when she is teething

Every time when she wakes up from sleeping, when I go to get her out of her crib she sits up and starts talking to me in a really sweet voice and hands me her bear that she sleeps with, it's like she wants me to say good morning or hello to her bear and give the bear loves, which I do and then I give the bear back to her and she gives him loves. She is so cuddly with her stuffed animals and not at all with us

She loves to play with cords which is really annoying

She loves to share and offers her food and binky to us all of the time

She is wearing 12 month clothes, size 3 shoes, and size 4 diapers

Every mom says it and it is so true, I can't believe that 11 months have already flown by. I ask myself all of the time, how is it that pregnancy can drag on and on and on and then once you have them time flies by in such a hurry. I already miss the days so much when my baby really was still a baby! She is growing up way too fast! I cannot believe that I am already planning her FIRST birthday party!

I agree in every way about pregnancy dragging as if time has stopped. However, once they are born it's as if someone hits the fast forward button. Each stage is so fun and rewarding, but it is sad how fast our babies grow. She is absolutely adorable!
