A New Year

I guess I am a little late getting to this post, but I still wanted to write some things down anyway. 

2012 was a little crazy. 

I am not going to lie, it was a fun year for us. We had some changes. We sold our first home which was a little hard.. Even though we sold it because we were ready for something new and had outgrown our home and needed something that would be more comfortable for a growing family, there were a lot of great memories made there, and it made it hard to say goodbye to that. It's where we started out our marriage, it's the home we made for our first baby. Lots of laughs were had there but also there were some hard times. It's where we learned a lot of new things, about life and about each other. Selling our home was closing a big chapter in our lives.  I will never forgot those special memories that we made there together as a family, and I cannot wait until we have our own home again so that we can make new memories!

After selling our home, we moved in with Jesse's parents to recover from a huge loss from selling our home. We had probably one of THE most fun summers of my life!! We were constantly on the go, always outside and Maelee got to try a lot of new things that she had never done before. It really was the best!!
Then came winter... Let's just say I am more then ready for this winter to be over already!! It's been a hard winter for us. Things haven't gone as we planned, and it's been hard to accept some of those things and move on with something else.
I have had enough of it and am ready for some summer sunshine
 to cure this winter funk I have been in.
Maelee and I haven't gotten out a lot this winter. I think I just feel like sometimes it is just better to keep Maelee home with all the sickness that is going around then to go out, but it gets boring for sure.
I keep telling myself that winter will be over before we know it, and I seriously cannot wait.

and soup to celebrate Amee's birthday!!
It felt so good to get out of the house and hang out in the fresh air, even if it only was for a short time.

Also, Happy birthday on Feb. 1 to my dad! No pictures, but we went to dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings and then had ice cream at Hollie and Eli's! So much fun!
