Can I just say that I have been working on this blog post pretty much since we got back from Seattle but it is taking me forever. It's so hard for me to keep up on my blog in the summer, because all we want to do is play outside!
I will say that I am not done with the Seattle post, but I thought I would post what I have for now, and do it in a couple posts, since it's so long and there are a bizillion pictures. I have a hard time picking only a few pictures to post because I love them all and want them in my blog book at the end of the year. So...
Seattle Part 1-
We just got back from a fun trip to Seattle with the entire family! We have only ever been to Seattle one other time, but I feel like every time we go it is a crazy adventure! This trip was very special because my oldest brother Nick was married to his sweetheart, David. David has been a part of our family for sometime now, but it was so great that they could finally make it official. I know this may be a touchy subject for some, but not for my family, mostly I am just so so happy for them. I could not have asked for a better partner for my brother, they make each other so happy, and I feel like that is all that matters. I hate that Nick lives so far away from our family, but it comforts me to know that he has someone there that takes amazing care of him. I am so thankful that we were all able to go support this sweet couple and I hope they know just how much we all love and support them. Thank you so much for sharing your love with us and making us want to be better in our own relationships. We love you.
Day 1- Traveling and Pike's Place
So this was Maelee's first official trip, we have never really taken her farther then bear lake, so to say I was a little stressed would be an understatement, luckily my dad and Hollie were with us to give us some extra hands. Maelee is not one that likes to sit still, ever, and she is two... so I was freaking out a little. I still cannot believe how much stuff you have to take with you when you are traveling with a little one! Once we finally made it through checkin and security it was easier.. Maelee did pretty good, but mostly she just wanted to run around. She was really excited for the plane ride, and while we were waiting to take off, she kept telling me, "Listen, it's really loud!" She did pretty good for a while but got bored and wanted to get out and about. Once we finally landed and got our rental car, and the pain in the butt car-seat installed. We headed to our home on Alki beach. After, we got settled in we decided to take a quick trip to Pike's place market and show my dad and Hollie around since they had never been.

Day 2- Bike Rides, Pike Place (again), Aquarium, and Bonfires
The house we rented had these fun bikes so it was so much fun to take them out and ride them around the water. So relaxing! We loved riding our bikes over to the restaurant to eat lunch. Such a fun and relaxing afternoon.
The aquarium...
Our house was also across from this wonderful beach, we decided it would be fun to make hobo dinners over the fire and roast marshmellows. It was freezing!!
Day 3- Wedding Day!
All I can say is that it was a wonderful day. The ceremony was sweet and pretty much all of us were bawling. So happy for them.
