Seattle Part 2

Day 4- Ferry Ride and Beach
Things I want to remember: Seattle in May is cold!! Even though I checked the weather before we went, it still was so much colder then I thought it would be. It felt like fall! I dressed completely wrong and froze the entire time. Next trip in the Spring, dress warm.

Day 4 was probably the most relaxing of the trip. We went to lunch with my dad since he was leaving this day and then after my mom, Hollie and my family took a ferry ride to Bremerton, got some yummy cold stone ice cream and then came back to busy Seattle. It was FREEZING and so WINDY but oh so fun and so beautiful. Maelee loved the wind! After we were out on the deck for a while, we were chilled to the bone so we decided to go hang out inside for a while, Maelee fell asleep and had a nice nap. While she was asleep my sister and I hung out on the front of the boat. It was fun to be silly and laugh with her, I felt like we were little girls out there on that boat. We pretended like we were flying and walking on the water, I don't think it matters how old you get, I think you can always be goofy with your sister.

 Being Silly...

After we got back from our ferry ride we decided we just wanted to go back to the house and enjoy our beach and our bikes. So, we headed back and did just that.

We went with Hollie to the tidal pools to see what we could see.. A few sea urchins is really all and we didn't stay long because I was nervous of some sketchy people around us.

Maelee's favorite thing to do, throw rocks in the water, it could keep her busy for hours.

Best way to end the trip!
It was a great family trip with a lot of fun memories!!
Some things I will never forget (even if I want to):
- Driving with my dad and Hollie almost have a panic attack. Every time. Made for some good laughs.
- Going to my first bar ever, I guess I should say gay bar.
- Having a gay guy grab my butt, and Hollie's, AND my mother's.
-Dancing on stage with a drag queen. Excuse me, getting dragged on stage by a drag queen. Looking out at my family all cheering and laughing.
- Having my oldest brother hand me single's to tip these dancing queens. WHAT?!
- Getting high, not on purpose.
-Having to take my dad to the doctor for an awful earache and then running to the other side of Seattle for a Rx that wasn't even there.
-My first trip to Trader Joe's.
-Seeing a random guy peeing in public.
-Laughing so hard my stomach hurt with my sister. Haven't laughed that hard in a LONG time!
- Having my entire family all together was the best.
And my favorite part..
-Watching my brother and the love of his life get married. The sweetest. Congrats on your happily ever after you two.

On the plane ride home, Maelee did better on this plane ride I think because she was really tired she watched her iPad and did some coloring and was content.. Until next time... Goodbye Seattle!
