Catch up!

I can't believe I haven't updated in 2 months. I feel like I have been so busy doing nothing, but a few big things have happened over the summer so I thought I would just update with some pictures...

This cute girl mastered using her potty a few months ago. Every time she has to go potty she tells me "I need to go poo poo," even if she has to just go pee.. I don't think she knows the difference yet. She will sleep all through the night and stay dry. She has some accidents here and there but really she pretty much stays dry. For potty training I just used a sticker chart and m&m's and it worked great. It probably took her about two weeks to master it. I keep a potty in the car just in case she needs to go while we are out and about, it works great and is so much better then using a nasty public restroom! How cute is this bum in her big girl Minnie Mouse undies?! 

Next... Well this happened....

She finally figured out how to get out of her crib. I thought it was going to be the end of the world, but it really wasn't so bad. I wasn't ready to move her into a toddler bed yet because we were going to be moving soon so I just wanted to wait until then to switch her. So at nap and bed time she would get a a few times and we would just have to put her back in and tell her not to get out, it took a couple times and then she just learned to stay in. 

Some days you just need to be silly and play... forget responsibility, this girl is growing up too dang fast!

I remember last summer was a blast, best summer ever... This year has been different. Since Jesse started his business this Spring we haven't been able to see much of him. He is always working. We can't wait for winter when we can actually get to hang out with him again. We are so proud of him. He is doing so well for his first year, and he is happy doing it.

Since we haven't been out to do much... We pretend to go camping.. Sometimes we set up the tent and go camping in our bedroom.. She loved this.

I found out that not only am I allergic to amoxicillin.. I am also allergic to sulfa too. This is what happens when I take it.. It is much much worse in person. It's a rash that completely covers my body and is painfully itchy!! It lasts for a couple days.. I am never taking a antibiotic again.

Happy 24th of July. Maelee did her very own sparklers! I was so proud!

I can't believe it is the end of August!! I feel like just this summer Maelee became a little girl. We said goodbye to her binky, her diapers, and her crib. CRAZY!
