Life with two isn't always easy. Being a parent is hard work and exhausting. But most days it's the best.
It took Maelee a couple of weeks to adjust to having a baby brother. It wasn't that she was jealous or felt neglected. It was the lack of sleep and break in her routine that really screwed her up.
Once we got caught up on our sleep and got her back to her normal schedule she was better.
She still has her moments when she just needs to her mommy by herself and I fully take advantage of that but she loves her brother so much. It's so fun to watch her take care of him and love on him. Whenever she is sitting around, playing on the ground with her toys she always makes sure to sit close enough to Hudson so that he can play with her. She can't wait for the day when he can actually run around with her!
Hudson is such an easy baby. He is very similar to how Maelee was. Both easy babies. He's such a sweet guy and loves to cuddle.
We cannot get enough of these sweet babies.
