Three and a half months ago I had Hudson!!
Life with two has been CRAZY BUSY which explains the huge gap in blog posts! The last post I did was Hudson's birth story! In just a couple weeks he will already be four months old. We have been up to A LOT these past few months so now I finally get to sit down and play catch up. SOO here we go!
Life with two has been CRAZY BUSY which explains the huge gap in blog posts! The last post I did was Hudson's birth story! In just a couple weeks he will already be four months old. We have been up to A LOT these past few months so now I finally get to sit down and play catch up. SOO here we go!
Just one month after Hudson was born we had to move, so that first month I was busy packing up our house and busy trying to take care of a three year old, a newborn AND recover from my c-section. It was a lot of work but we are moved and that already feels like so long ago! We have settled into our new home nicely. We love the area where we live but we miss our old neighborhood like crazy!! I never thought I would say it but we miss all of the young kids, all Maelee's friends that used to ring our doorbell 100x a day, we miss all the friendly people and friends that we made. There are kids in our neighborhood but they are a little bit older then Maelee… We just started back at church again after our long break from moving and having a newborn around so I am hoping we will start meeting some kiddos her own age!
I can't believe that summer is already over.. We didn't get out and do a ton this summer because not only were we busy moving, we just had a new baby! But here are a few things that we did do this summer! I have a feeling that next summer is going to be a blast!!!
July 4, 2014.
We had been talking about July 4th months before it actually came. Maelee was so excited to go to the parade and to watch the fireworks. I had only had Hudson a few days before and had barely gotten home from the hospital but I wanted to try and do as much as possible with her.
We went to the parade that morning with my mom and sister. Maelee loved it!! Hudson did great! It was so much fun!
We hung out at my mom's house for a lot of the day just relaxing and then later in the day we went up to the Felter's. That night we tried to go park our car away from the loud noise so it wouldn't bother the baby but so that Mae could still watch. She was tired and off.. she just wasn't her normal self because of all the changes going on and the fireworks were a little too loud for her so we ended up just going home.
We had a fun day and were so happy that we had our new baby Hudson with us to celebrate!
We usually spend a lot of our summer at the pool but it was just too hard this year. We did go one time when Jesse still had time off work for the baby. Mae loved it! She loves hanging out with her daddy!

This was so much fun because it was the first time we had really gotten out of the house after we had Hudson. I had just had the baby though so I couldn't get in the water but I had a very nice, relaxing day on the boat!! Thanks so much for taking us!!
